DeWalt Brushless Recip / Sabre Saw ia just 393mm in length, while still delivering fantastic power and stroke rate. It operates at a maximum of 3,200 strokes per minute, controllable by the pressure sensitive variable speed trigger. It is capable of cutting 130mm steel section and piping, or 160mm PVC pipe. It can also cut through an impressive 300mm of wood. This version of the tool is the bare unit, to allow a lower price for those who already own compatible 18V XR and XR FlexVolt battery packs. The machine features a brushless motor which has several advantages over older brushed motors, including a longer runtime from batteries, and lower maintenance requirements.
